Sysprep, the process of stripping configuration out of your windows installation for the “out of box experience”, has [finally] been integrated into Windows Server 2008. The process on pre-2008 operating systems consisted of creating a sysprep folder in the root of C, copying them over the new folder, then launching them. The process has been immensily simplified with Server 2008.
To launch sysprep, click start then type “sysprep”. This will launch the sysprep folder where you can launch sysprep.exe. Start>run>%systemroot%\system32\sysprep\sysprep.exe works equally as well. Simply choose your options and click Ok.
